FELLOW (FIRSM): This highest grade of membership is for persons at very Senior management or Administration level with minimum of ten years experience along with academic/ professional qualifications. Membership of Professional bodies at senior grade is an advantage. Direct application can be made or nomination by the institute or other reputable organization approved by the council.
MEMBER (MIRSM): Is the grade for managers of senior and middle management levels. Application should be holders of professional qualification in Management studies, Administrative Management, Public Administration or academic/professional qualifications with at list two years managerial experience. Evidence of five years managerial experience without the requisite academic /professional qualifications may be considered by the Council. Direct application can be made or nomination by the Institute.
ASSOCIATE (AIRSM): Is the grade for persons with University degrees or equivalent professional qualifications in management, public administration, business studies or related disciplines with at least one year managerial experience who wish to be associated with the aims and objectives of the Institute. The Institute is hopeful that associates will become eligible for membership in due course.
GRADUATE (GIRSM): Is the grade for fresh graduates with Diploma in Management Studies, Administrative management, Public Administration or academic / professional qualifications not having the necessary practical experience to be eligible for Associateship and full Membership.
